Across the street from my apartment there’s a new condo building going up. It’s been, ahem, “going up” since I moved here nearly two years ago. Back then, the development was a selling point for my broker, “And look! Brand new condos are underway right down the street!” Read: the neighborhood is BOOMING! Well, flash forward two years and the joint has been finished, but it’s completely void of inhabitants. The building, as a gaudy, empty shell, has frozen in time. No one’s buying. No one’s renting. Now, call me crazy, but I think it could stand a better ad campaign than the one I noticed tonight directly outside the main entrance.
